My Approach

I practice a holistic approach to Autism and ADD recovery,
which means that I look at how all areas of your family life are connected. Rather than reach first for medications, I prefer to start with: 
  • SpectraCell blood testing for nutritional deficiencies
  • improve everyone's sleep habits
  • slowly "crowd out" problem foods from the family kitchen by replacing them with healthier upgrades
  • reduce screen time, and increase exercise to reduce hyperactivity
  • explore other biomedical interventions as needed, including supplements, ABA, speech therapy, parasite testing, chiropractic, homeopathy, MNRI, etc.

For many it can seem daunting to embark upon making positive changes, and I am here to provide you with support and strategies for success. Together we will explore why some foods affect health and behavior more than others and how to strategically use that feedback. As we work together, we will look at how all parts of our lives affect our health as a whole. By defining what you value most for your family's well-being, we'll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. Together we'll co-create your family's health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you're working toward.

Initial Consultation
To decide if health coaching is right for you, I invite you to schedule an initial consultation (30 minutes) with me. I meet with clients in-person in Baltimore, or via Skype worldwide.

Prior to your session, I will ask you to fill out Heath History forms for all family members, and upload video of your child's most challenging behaviors.

During your session, we will discuss your family's health and lifestyle to determine how I can best support you in achieving your goals. I hope that you will choose to begin a 6-month program, in which case: we will sign a 6-month Program contract form, setup auto-pay ($100/month), fill out SpectraCell test forms, and collect payment for your family's SpectraCell tests ($285/person).

A Typical Health Coaching Session:
  • What's New and Good with you this week?
  • Recap of 3 tips given last week. How did it go? Do you need more help to implement those tips?
  • 1-3 new tips this week.
  • Energy Work: Reiki and/or Theta Healing (Prayer Healing) for the remainder of our session time

6-month Program:
Making significant and lasting progress in your family's health and behavior takes time.
I prefer to work with clients in a 6-month program (meeting 2X/month for 30 minutes) to achieve lasting results in children's and parent's lives.
$100/month for 6 months, auto-billed monthly to checking/credit card
(Total of $600 for 12 consults, which equals $50 per 30-minute session)

Single Session Rates: For clients who prefer to meet with me for single sessions, the rate is $75 for a 30-minute consultation.

The concept of Bio-IINndividuality is the idea that each of us has unique food and lifestyle needs. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your family's unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background.

Crowding Out††

By eating and drinking foods that are good for you, you will naturally have less room and desire for unhealthy foods. Simply put, you will "crowd out" the unhealthy food in your diet. This takes a little practice to make happen, but I will support you along the way. It is especially motivating to track health/behaviors before and after, to see the benefits of healthy eating and the consequences of dietary infractions.

Integrative Nutrition Plate†

The Integrative Nutrition Plate emphasizes the importance of local and organic produce, whole foods, high-quality proteins, plant-based fats, and water. It shows you how a plate should appear at mealtime and emphasizes the importance of proportions and portion size. To complete the picture, the plate is surrounded with lifestyle factors that create optimal health: relationship, career, physical activity and spirituality. I’ll introduce you to some of the healthiest foods on the planet and teach you how to find what’s healthiest for your unique body!

It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat that affects our health, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Sleep, healthy relationships, joy, creativity, regular physical activity, career, and a spiritual awareness are also essential forms of nourishment.
